DESCRIPTION

Nuri's AiMiR Concentrator devices aggregate and feed AiMiR wireless AMI mesh 802.15.4 network traffic to AiMiR Head End Systems. The Head Ends are located at the Utility control center and data is sent over the digital cellular or WAN connections. By doing so, smart energy meters and other intelligent devices connected within the AiMiR Local Area Network, can be configured, monitored and managed remotely. Thereby minimizing, or even eliminating, the need to physically visit each device to collect data and verify its operating health.

Nuri's Concentrators provide integrated ZigBee/802.15.4 support plus digital cellular, WAN and local storage options. Several physical interfaces such as Ethernet and serial RS-232 are supported as well. Nuri provides Concentrators for indoor and outdoor applications.

Concentrators are a key element of Nuri Telecom's family of end-to-end Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) connectivity solutions – a collection of products that also includes our MIUs (Meter Interface Units), repeaters, digital cellular modems and software. This allows for connecting smart meters, IHD (Intelligent Home Devices) and other monitoring devices to an AiMiR wireless AMI mesh 802.15.4 network.

This networking arrangement gives utilities flexibility to add a wide range of cutting edge applications such as gas pressure monitoring, temperature monitoring, remote connect and disconnect, etc. in the future.

Nuri's AiMiR Concentrators make networking simple, easy to deploy, and provide utilities with true connectivity.
