AMR system constructed in Paraguay

12 Jun 2008—NURI Telecom has successfully constructed electricity distribution and AMR(automatic meter reading) systems in Paraguay, jointly executed with KEPCO as a part of KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency) project.

NURI Telecom opened a demonstration of the AMR system(product name:AiMiR) on May 23rd with KEPCO, ANDE and Korean embassy parties present at ANDE.

NURI Telecom participated in the first cooperative project in Paraguay supervised by KEPCO. NURITelecom initiated operational technology and provided AMR systems(product name: IMIR) including GSM AMR modems and meter software, FEP servers to Paraguay’s capital Asuncion, which consumes electricity from ANDE starting from August 2007, and also to over 100 places with increasing electricity demands such as hospitals in Capiata C&I(commercial & industrial) customers.
